You can take the class IV run in the photo to the left, or slip off this small falls. A giant flood in 1996 changed most of the rapids on El Salto. This one became a little more difficult.

You can't beat the warm water and blue falls of El Salto. My kind of kayaking. Sure you can run little falls like this all over the place. But where do you find a backdrop like this?

I didn't name it! I haven't run it either. This is the little drop above it. Another 80 feet to go. El Meco has been done at least five times. No close calls to date. Though the difference between right and very wrong is the width of a kayak. You need to come to Mexico just to see what people are running!
