| Sat. Day 1: | Traveling. USA -- Tampico -- Cd. Valles. |

| Sun. Day 2: | Micos. Waterfalls. 4 km. Wake up to the murmer of the river and the cries of wild parrots. After breakfast we fit the kayaks then take the short drive to Cascadas Micos. The enchanting falls and rapids of this whitewater park lead to the take-out at our ranch. Dinner at the ranch. |

| Mon. Day 3: | El Salto. Waterfalls. 5km. A day of beautiful blue water, big waterfalls and steep single drops. Breakfast at 8:00, followed by an hour drive to El Salto. We enjoy a traditional Mexican dinner in a small resturant. | |
| Tue. Day 4: | Rio Tampaon. Class III. 12 km. This is a spectacular run of conventional rapids in a deep canyon. The hour drive to the river winds along a narrow valley to a remote village. On the drive home we stop in Valles for a cold cerveza. Dinner at the ranch. |

| Wed. Day 5: | Rio Santa Maria. Class III -IV. 19 km. An early morning in preparation for the long day on the river. Around the corner from the put-in we enter the Rincon Grande Canyon. A dozen straight-forward rapids fill out the morning. In the afternoon we enter Tamul Canyon. More than a half-dozen of the best rapids on the Santa Maria and another dozen class IIIs make this a full day of whitewater. After throwing endos in the famous Aztec Hole, we hike up the canyonside to look over the falls. |

| Thur. Day 6: | El Salto. Another day of blue waterfalls and travertine rapids.

| Fri. Day 7: | Micos. A short day on the river followed by a relaxing afternoon. Farewell dinner and fiesta. Hotel in Valles. |

| Sat. Day 8: | Traveling. Early bus to Tampico. Flight home. |
