Join us for a week of kayaking on the unspoiled rivers of Oaxaca This is the year for oaxaca. Prices are down on flights across the board. Our Oaxaca adventure features full days of California style whitewater. The rivers are clean and warm.The rapids weave between giant granite boulders. Each river has a distinct character. The forest is high canopy and relatively untouched. This is a week of paddling great rapids in the hot tropical sun.
		The coast of Oaxaca has some of the best whitewater in Mexico. Long complex rapids, tight bedrock canyons and a wilderness setting on the river. We stay in the small resort town of la Crucecita and head out to the river every morning. It's a nice combination of complete wilderness on the water and a beach resort in the evenings. If you want to bring a non-kayaker on a trip this is the one.
Trevor Hudson scouts the first descent. El Chorro, Rio Zimatan. The Zimatan is a great technical run through a polished granite canyon. It has a dozen class III and IV rapids as well as a couple solid Vs. Get on our mailing list		El Chorro
This little hole is within view of the put-in on the Lower Copalita, or Hamacas. The rest of the run is class III with one class IV. The Hamacas flows through a wide canyon. Most of the rapids are rock gardens or shoals.
